Mya Elkins

Movement has always been central to my life, and through both running and strength training I’ve experienced how transformative it can be: physically AND mentally. As a strength and run coach, my mission is to help people build resilient, capable bodies that support the lives they want to live.

Before becoming a coach, I originally planned to pursue a career in psychotherapy. Along the way, I realized that coaching movement allowed me to support people in a similarly meaningful way. I can help people challenge themselves, grow, and discover capabilities they may not have believed were possible at first.

My coaching philosophy centers on durability and longevity. I believe training should enhance every aspect of life, whether that means preparing for an ultramarathon, building strength in the gym, or simply feeling more energized and confident everyday. By integrating strength training, mobility work, and endurance training, I help clients move well, stay injury-resistant, and perform at a high level for years to come.

I work with a wide range of clients; from ultramarathoners pursuing ambitious endurance goals to individuals who simply want to become stronger, more active, and more connected to their bodies. No matter where someone begins, my focus is on creating thoughtful, sustainable training that builds lasting strength, confidence, and momentum.

Movement is the key to improving your life. My goal is to help clients build the strength, resilience, and mindset that allow them to keep pursuing what they love for years to come.
